- Zane Kirkwood is currently playing for the Sturt Double Blues after he was delisted by the Port Adelaide Magpies when becoming a reserves side. Kirkwood won the 2014 Magarey Medal.

Kirkwood was recruited by Port Adelaide after he gained the under 18 state selection. He played 85 games for the Magpies before being recruited by Sturt.
Sturt[]
In his first season with the Double Blues, Kirkwood would be named vice-captain. Kirkwood was awarded the Fos Williams Medal, P.T Morton Medal, SANFL Team Of The Year, and the Magarey Medal. On Sturt's website; when asked the question "Craziest Thing You Have Done In Your Life? He replied: Being lactose intolerant, I once drank some milk.
