After some research in football these past months, I have come across some unique names that either made me laugh or go "wow, poor bastard". (Just kidding). But here are two names that are unique.

1. Barnaby French: A South Australian who played for clubs; Sturt, Port Adelaide and Carlton. The reason why I found this unique was because this was the first time I found a footballers first name, or anyone's first name to be Barnaby. Also, the name French I have found to be uncommon.

2. Richard "Dick" Head: Do I have to explain why I found this name to be unique?! Played for West Adelaide, Sturt and Glenelg from 1906 - 1923.
