Tyson Lane (born 25 August 1976) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Footscray and Collingwood in the AFL.

Recruited locally from Melton, Lane spent a number of years playing for the Bulldogs' reserves before making his debut in the opening round of 1995, winning a Rising Star nomination on debut. He played nine games in the 1995 season, but added just ten more over the next three years. At the end of the 1998 season, Lane was traded to Collingwood in a straight swap for Josh Mahoney. He kicked 22 goals from 20 games in his first season with the Magpies, and played another 22 games over the next two years. Shortly before the 2002 season commenced, Lane surprised Collingwood by announcing his retirement, citing a loss of motivation to continue playing at the highest level.

Lane moved to Cairns, playing for North Cairns for three seasons before spending 2006 as the playing-coach of the Manunda Hawks. He crossed to Western Australia in 2007, working as an assistant coach at Swan Districts and pulling on the boots for a handful of games. Lane then returned to Victoria, coaching Hastings in the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League in 2008 and 2009 and Knox in the Eastern Football League in 2010, before heading back to Cairns to coach Centrals-Trinity Beach in 2011 and 2012.
