Simon Godfrey (born 18 October 1980) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Melbourne in the AFL.

After playing TAC Cup for Eastern Ranges, Godfrey played VFL for Box Hill and was on Melbourne's supplementary list before being added to the Demons' senior list in the 2000 pre-season draft. He debuted late in 2000 and slowly established himself in the side as a tagger, playing 105 games. Godfrey was delisted at the end of 2007. After leaving Melbourne he played for Norwood in the Eastern Football League, also having stints with Ferntree Gully and his junior club Mitcham.
