Shannon O'Brien (born 19 May 1982) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Sandringham and Springvale in the VFL and was on Melbourne's list in the AFL.
After playing TAC Cup for Gippsland, O'Brien was rookie-listed by Melbourne. He spent two years playing for Sandringham, Melbourne's VFL affiliate, and played in the Zebras' 2000 premiership side. He was delisted at the end of 2001 without playing a senior game.
After being delisted by the Demons, he joined VFL side Springvale.
