Richard Hadley (born 29 March 1983 is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Brisbane and Carlton in the AFL and East Fremantle in the WAFL.

Hadley played junior football for East Fremantle before being drafted by Brisbane in 2000. He made his debut early in 2001 but did not appear at senior level again until receiving a call-up during the 2003 finals series. Hadley held his spot for the grand final and won an AFL premiership medal in just his fourth senior game. He played 23 games the following year, including the Lions' grand final loss to Port Adelaide, and was named Brisbane's rookie of the year. Unfortunately, he missed the next two years after suffering back-to-back ACL injuries. Finally returning in 2007, he played eight games before requesting a trade to Carlton at the end of the year. Hadley played six games for Carlton in another injury-afflicted year in 2008, followed by 11 the following year. He played eight games in 2010, including the Blues' elimination final loss, but announced his retirement from AFL football at the end of the year, his body having allowed him to play just 66 games in ten years.

Hadley returned to East Fremantle where he played for another three seasons.
