No 56, 2003 AFL Rookie Draft
Nathan Carroll (born 20 October 1980) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Melbourne in the AFL and Claremont in the WAFL.
First drafted by Fremantle, Carroll spent 2000 on the Dockers' rookie list, joining older brother Trent Carroll at the club. He did not make a senior appearance and was delisted at the end of the year. Carroll spent the next two years with Claremont before being picked up by Melbourne as a rookie. He made his debut early in the 2003 season, playing seven games in that year and a further ten games over the next two seasons. Carroll's best season came in 2006 when he was a regular at full-back for the Demons, playing 24 games. He played another 21 games the following year, but after just nine in 2008, was delisted at the end of the year having played a total of 71 games with Melbourne.
