No 50, 1997 AFL National Draft
Luke Ottens (born 22 May 1976) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Melbourne in the AFL and Glenelg in the SANFL.
The older brother of Geelong premiership ruckman Brad Ottens, Luke was on Port Adelaide's rookie list in their first year in the AFL but did not play a game for the Power. Delisted at the end of the year, he was drafted by Melbourne and spent the next three years with the Demons. Ottens made his AFL debut in the opening round of the 1999 season against Richmond, opposite brother Brad, and played the first four games of the year. Later that year he injured his knee while playing reserves, requiring a reconstruction. On his return to reserves action in the second half of 2000, he injured his other knee and again required a reconstruction.
After being delisted by the Demons, he returned to Glenelg in 2001.
