Josh Mahoney (born 31 October 1977) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Collingwood, Western Bulldogs and Port Adelaide in the AFL.
Mahoney went undrafted after playing TAC Cup for Western Jets, and spent 1996 playing for Williamstown in the VFL before being drafted by Collingwood. He played 19 games for the Magpies over two seasons before moving to the Western Bulldogs in a straight swap for Tyson Lane. Mahoney played just 11 games in two years at the Bulldogs, and was delisted at the end of 2000. He spent the next two years playing for Essendon's reserves side, before returning to Williamstown in 2003. Thrown a lifeline by Port Adelaide in the pre-season draft, Mahoney established himself in the side as a defensive half-forward and was a member of the Power's premiership team. After leading Port Adelaide's goalkicking in 2006 with 29 majors, Mahoney retired at the end of 2007. Mahoney joined Melbourne as an assistant coach, before moving into administration and serving as the Demons' general manager of football operations.
