Jamie Shanahan (born 6 December 1967) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for St Kilda and Melbourne in the AFL.

After several years playing for Hobart in the Tasmanian Football League, Shanahan was picked up by St Kilda late in the 1990 draft. He spent 1991 playing reserves before debuting early in the 1992 season. Shanahan played 125 games for the Saints, his final game coming in the losing 1997 grand final. Due to a contract dispute, he left St Kilda and was picked up by Melbourne in the pre-season draft. Shanahan played 37 games for Melbourne in the next two seasons, but spent 2000 playing for Sandringham in the VFL, announcing his retirement during the year. A key defender, he played 162 senior games without kicking a goal.

Shanahan spent 2001 playing for Ainslie in the Canberra league.
