Gary Moorcroft (born 16 April 1976) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Essendon and Melbourne in the AFL.

Moorcroft won the Morrish Medal as the best player in the TAC Cup in 1994 before being drafted by Essendon. He played senior one game early in the 1995 season, but was delisted at the end of the year. After spending 1996 as a supplementary player with the Bombers' reserves, he was added to the rookie list in 1997 and played 11 senior games. Moorcroft ended up playing 95 games for Essendon, including the Bombers' victorious 2000 grand final, and won Mark of the Year in 2001 for a spectacular effort against the Western Bulldogs. With his form slipping in 2002 and with the Bombers facing a salary cap squeeze, he was delisted at the end of the year. Melbourne recruited him through the draft, but he played only three games for the Demons before a serious knee injury ended his career.

Moorcroft spent a year in the VFL with the Bendigo Bombers, then played local football, appearing for Silvan and Romsey before spending several years with Northern Football League club Bundoora. He remained with Bundoora for the 2018 season, at the age of 42.
