David Cockatoo-Collins (born 1 April 1978) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Melbourne in the AFL.

The younger brother of Essendon's Che Cockatoo-Collins, David was drafted by Melbourne in the 1995 pre-season draft as a compensation selection for the signing by Fremantle of Demon Jason Norrish. After spending 1995 in the reserves, he made his AFL debut in the opening round of 1996, alongside twin brother Donald Cockatoo-Collins who had joined his brother at Melbourne in the offseason. His second and final senior appearance did not come until late in 1997. Cockatoo-Collins was delisted by Melbourne early in the 1998 season, in order to elevate Matthew Bishop from the rookie list.[1]
