Ben Doherty (born 1 June 1981) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Bendigo in the VFL and was on Brisbane and Melbourne's rookie lists in the AFL.
Having played junior football for Morningside, Doherty was drafted by Brisbane in the 2000 rookie draft. Delisted after one year, he was picked up by Melbourne but again delisted after one season and no senior games.
Doherty then moved to Bendigo, playing for the Diggers in the VFL and locally for Golden Square. He then joined Canberra side Ainslie in 2004.
