Andrew Merrington (born 27 November 1978) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Carlton in the AFL and East Perth in the WAFL.

The son of Gary Merrington, who played 174 games for Footscray, Andrew went undrafted after playing TAC Cup for Calder Cannons and joined amateur side St Bernard's. He was drafted by Carlton late in the 1999 national draft and made his debut during the 2000 season. Merrington played 14 of his 18 games in the navy blue in 2002, and was delisted at the end of the 2003 season after playing just one game during that year.

After leaving Carlton, Merrington joined WAFL side East Perth, where he played for seven years and won the best and fairest in 2005.
