1958 SANFL Grand Final

The 1958 SANFL Grand Final was contested between Port Adelaide Magpies and West Adelaide Bloods. Port Adelaide would win by two points but the final score has always been disputed. The controversy suggests that Bloods ruckman Jack Richardson scored a goal and was not touched by defender Ted Whelan allowing not to hit the post scoring a behind. ^[1]
